| You do not need to know anything about APPX Application Design in order to create a report using the Report Writer. The Report Writer will walk you through each step of designong the report. The simple instructions will step you through identifying the data you want to see, the order in which it should be shown, and any sorting or selection criteria you would like to use. The Report Writer will then create all the Appx processes required to run the report.
To use the APPX Report Writer, just as with any report generator, you will need to be able to identify the files and fields that contain the data you wish to see. With a little instruction on the structure of the database you should be able to quickly create reports.
